Bosch Professional Forstner drill bits
The Forstner drill bit has an excellent service life for drilling precision bore holes. The tooth-shaped design reduces friction and heat, resulting in greater durability. The short centring tip of the precision drill bit has two main kerfs and a (tooth-shaped) peripheral kerf for exact results. The fast drilling precision of the drill bit is further supported by the large chip-free zones, which enable optimised chip removal. The Forstner drill bit produces smooth, splinter-free drilling of blind holes and can be used to drill on edges and bevelled surfaces, e.g. to attach hinges, drill dowel holes or remove knots. It is ideal for drilling in soft and hard woods, veneered wood and non-laminated particle board.
