This new design offers woodworkers and makers the first commercial dowel plate with 1/32″ (0.031″) increments between hole sizes to make the process easier than traditional plates with 1/8″ or 1/16″ holes. This is especially helpful in hardwoods. The holes are counterbored which means the hole bottom diameter is larger to reduce friction on the dowel as it passes through each hole.
