High Performance USB Audio Interface The iD14 High Performance USB audio interface provides uncompromising audience quality for any home or project studio or on the go. Completely bus-powered, the compact, all-metal desktop unit features two integrated, high-quality Class-A studio-quality microphone preamps, eliminating the need for external preamps. The AD/DA conversion of the total of two inputs and four outputs is carried out by high-quality Burr-Brown converters of the latest generation, which are distinguished not only by their excellent sound characteristics but also by their unique attention to detail. Guitar or bass can be connected directly to the iD14 via a discrete JFET instrument input on the front panel. Active speakers can be connected to the main out and headphones to the independent headphone output. An additional ADAT digital input allows up to 8 additional channels to be fed in via an external converter or microphone preamplifier with digital output (e.g. Audient ASP880 or ASP800), making a total of 10 inputs and 4 outputs available. For seamless DAW integration and control of monitor controller functions, a configurable iD Control knob with ScrollControl is also available.
